Adults, teenagers and children all play on MiDaDiX. These rules help keep the community friendly and safe for everyone. They apply to game reviews, nicknames, profiles and anything else you do on the service, and they add to the Terms of Use.

Who can write reviews

Only account holders. Guests cannot write reviews, but they can read them and send reports.
Accounts in child mode (under 13) cannot write reviews; they can only read approved ones.
A review is plain text of up to 500 characters, with no images, links or formatting.
No more than 5 reviews per hour from one account.

Pre-moderation

A moderator checks every review before it is published. While the check is in progress, only you can see the review, with the status "under review".
An automatic filter immediately rejects reviews that contain contact details or banned words: you will see the reason and can fix the text.
A moderator can publish, reject or later hide a review, and always gives a reason.

What is not allowed

Contact details and links: email addresses, phone numbers, usernames on messaging apps and social networks, links to websites, channels and groups. Even your own, and even "just to chat". This is the most important rule for keeping children safe on the portal.
Personal information, your own or anyone else's: real names and surnames, addresses, schools, photos, or any details that could be used to find someone.
Invitations to move to private messages or to other platforms, or suggestions to meet up.
Insults, bullying and threats, or putting other players down, including because of their game results.
Hate and discrimination based on nationality, religion, gender, age, appearance, disability or any other characteristic.
Content that is not suitable for families: sexual, violent or frightening content, or promoting alcohol, drugs, weapons, gambling or self-harm.
Spam and advertising: repeated identical messages, adverts for products, services, other games or channels, or artificially boosting ratings.
Cheats and cheating: sharing or discussing cheats, ways of hacking or faking results.
Pretending to be someone else: another player, a famous person, or a member of MiDaDiX staff or a moderator.
Anything that breaks the law.

The same rules apply to nicknames. A nickname with banned words will not pass the check when you save it.

Reports

If a review breaks the rules, press "Report" and choose a reason: spam, insult, inappropriate content or other. You can also report a player.
Reports are handled by moderators. If three different players report a review, it is automatically hidden until a moderator makes a decision.
Only one report per player per review counts. Knowingly false reports also break the rules.

Blocking players

You can block any player from their profile. Blocking works both ways: you stop seeing each other, and any friendship and friend requests are cancelled. Unblocking does not restore the friendship.

Sanctions

Depending on the violation and whether it has happened before, a moderator may:

reject or hide a review;
issue a warning;
block an account for a period of time or permanently. While the block is in place, you cannot sign in to the account, start games or write reviews.

We tell you about moderators' decisions on your reviews and about any restrictions on your account in your notifications.

Appeals

If you disagree with a decision, write to zhimchik@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, and include your nickname and the review in question. We will look at the decision again.

Keeping children safe

If someone asks you for personal information or photos, or suggests moving to another messaging app or meeting up, do not reply: press "Report" and block the player. Children should tell a parent or another adult they trust straight away. In an emergency, when someone's life or health is in danger, contact the police.
