These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the MiDaDiX service (Роман Евгеньевич, "we"). By using midadix.com, you agree to them, as well as to the Community Rules and the Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, please read these terms together with your parents.

What MiDaDiX is

MiDaDiX is a free browser games portal. Games run directly in your browser with nothing to install. The service includes saved progress, achievements, leaderboards, daily challenges, challenge links, weekly tournaments, profiles, friends, game reviews and notifications.

The service is free

The service is free to use. There are no payments, subscriptions, in-game purchases or adverts. If we ever decide to add paid features or advertising, we will update these terms in advance and let you know.

An account is optional

You can play as a guest: your progress and favourites are linked to a browser cookie. If you clear your cookies or switch devices, your guest progress may be lost.
You can create an account at any time: with a link from an email, with an email and password, or with Google, Apple or Telegram. Your guest progress is then moved to your account.
Please give your real year of birth: age rules depend on it. Accounts for players under 13 work in child mode.
Your nickname must not break the Community Rules or suggest that you are another person or a member of the service's staff.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure: do not give anyone else access to your email, password or linked accounts. If you think your account has been hacked, tell us.

Rules of conduct

The service is used by adults, teenagers and children. Please behave respectfully and follow the Community Rules. You must not use the service to break the law, interfere with how the service works (overloading it, or looking for and using vulnerabilities without our permission), or collect other players' data.

Fair play and result checks

Leaderboards and tournaments only make sense if everyone plays fairly. That is why it is forbidden to:

use cheats, bots, macros, auto-clickers or any other automation tools;
change a game's code, or tamper with or fake requests to the server;
exploit bugs in games to get a result instead of reporting them;
create several accounts to influence leaderboards or tournaments, or play on behalf of another person.

How we check results:

the server automatically checks whether each result in ranked modes is realistic: score, game duration and how often attempts are made, according to the limits for that mode;
a moderator manually reviews suspicious results and results that reach the top ten of any leaderboard;
each result has a status: "under review", "confirmed", "rejected" or "not confirmed". Only confirmed results appear in leaderboards and tournaments;
if scores are tied, whoever achieved the result first is ranked higher.

We may reject a result, remove it from a leaderboard, remove a player from a tournament or restrict an account if a result was achieved by breaking these rules. If you think a result was rejected by mistake, write to zhimchik@gmail.com.

Tournaments

Tournaments take place every week: from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
You need an account to take part; accounts in child mode do not take part in tournaments.
Your best confirmed result during the tournament week is the one that counts.
Taking part is free. There are no real prizes: rewards are badges and achievements on your profile. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
We may cancel or change a tournament (for example, because of a bug in a game) and remove a participant for breaking the fair play rules.

Reviews and other user content

Only account holders can write reviews of games (not guests, and not accounts in child mode). Every review is checked before it is published; see the Community Rules for details.
You are responsible for what you write. By publishing a review, you allow us to show it on the service free of charge until it is deleted.
We may reject, hide or delete any content that breaks these terms or the Community Rules.

Moderation and sanctions

Depending on how serious a violation is and whether it has happened before, we may:

reject or hide a review;
issue a warning;
reject results and remove you from a tournament;
block an account for a period of time or permanently: a blocked player cannot sign in, start games or write reviews.

Decisions are made by the service's moderators, and all decisions are recorded in a log. You can appeal a decision by writing to zhimchik@gmail.com.

Intellectual property

The games, their graphics, music and text, the site design, and the MiDaDiX logo and name belong to Роман Евгеньевич or are used under licence. You may play the games on the site for personal, non-commercial use. Without our written permission you may not copy the games, embed them on other sites, extract or distribute build files, or decompile or otherwise take them apart, except where the law expressly allows it.

How the service works

We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available and free of errors. We may carry out maintenance, and add, change or remove games and features. When games change, we try to keep your progress, but we cannot guarantee this for every update. If the server is unavailable, some games may work offline, but results will not appear in leaderboards until they have been sent and checked.

Limitation of liability

This section is to be finalised by a lawyer.

The service is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by the applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of game progress, achievements or leaderboard positions, or for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use of the service

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in your profile settings. We may restrict or block access if these terms are broken, and we may also shut down the service after announcing it on the site in advance.

Applicable law and disputes

This section is to be finalised by a lawyer.

The applicable law, the procedure for resolving disputes and jurisdiction will be set after a legal review. Until then, we aim to resolve any disagreements without going to court: write to us at zhimchik@gmail.com.

Changes to these terms

These terms have a version number and date, shown at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes in advance on the site and by email to account holders with a confirmed email address. If you keep using the service after the changes take effect, it means you accept them.
